Praise the Lord and to Him who woke us up this morning, I say thank You Jesus. My brothers and sisters in the Lord keep trusting Him for He is good.

Let us turn to the book of Proverbs 29:3-4
3 Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance.
4 The king by judgment establisheth the land: but he that receiveth gifts overthroweth it.

Verse 3 – A man who habitually dallies with prostitutes is selfish and lustful: traits which adversely affect his entire life. Because he is without character or wisdom, he never becomes successful, and squanders his father’s resources. As our societies grow in wickedness, many are tempted into sexual sin not only through prostitutes, but also through pornography. The Bible tells us to flee from all fornication, for we are not our own: “Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (1 Corinthians 6:15-20).

Verse 4 – A ruler either establishes the land by good judgment, or overthrows it by the corruption his evil character promotes in others. Evil leaders are more interested in the fulfilling of their own personal desires than the good of the people. Their decisions can be swayed by bribes (gifts) from unscrupulous people. A wicked king or ruler lays heavy burdens on his people, such as high taxes, in order to live luxuriously and glorify himself. There were religious rulers in Jesus’ day who did the same kind of things in spiritual matters. He likened them to poisonous snakes and warned them that they were on their way to hell: “For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers…Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?” (Matthew 23:4,33).

Let us pray

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for those good and righteous leaders in the world who are concerned about serving the people in a just manner. Lord, bless and protect these men and women. Give them Your wisdom in the decisions they make because they will affect many people. Father, have mercy on our land and deliver the people from the many sexual sins that are destroying our world. Lord, forgive this nation for lust, selfishness, perversion, adultery, fornication, pornography, nakedness, and all the other filthy sexual indulgences that go on daily. Cleanse us from unrighteousness and make us holy. I ask this in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

How long wilt thou forget me, O Lord! for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

Every good gift, and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. But Zion said, The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me. Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Thou shalt not be forgotten of me. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins.

Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. A woman … cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David! But he answered her not a word.

The trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth.

(Jesus said) “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35

Brian Pelt was minding his own business as he drove down a street in Regina, Saskatchewan.

That was when he saw “this homeless guy holding a sign,” near an intersection: an intersection that had a stop sign. Finding himself to be in a humanitarian frame of mind, Brian decided to give the man a few bucks.

He unbuckled his seatbelt so he could get at his cash, and handed the man $3.

Apparently, that was the wrong thing to do.

You see, the man’s sign hadn’t asked for a job, nor did it say he was homeless, nor did it suggest he was hungry. On the contrary, the placard simply read, “Not broke. Not hungry. Have a nice day.” That last line was a nice wish, but that wish didn’t come through for Brian.

That’s because the down-and-out homeless fellow was an undercover policeman involved in a sting operation. The officer radioed ahead to his fellow officers, and they pulled Brian to the side of the road. In short order he was given a citation: a ticket for $175.

Can you guess the charge? Simple. According to the police and the letter of the law, Brian had been operating a motor vehicle without wearing his seat belt. He was not alone. In less than an hour more than 40 others were ticketed the same way.

Considering the whole episode, Brian might easily say that “no good deed ever goes unpunished.”

If Brian feels the injustice of the situation, imagine how our Saviour must have felt. He had come into this world to save humanity from its damnable, sinful condition. The perfect Saviour’s life was an unprecedented act of love, which the Lord had set into motion to bring about our rescue.

In spite of Jesus’ good intentions, almost from the moment He was born, He was hated. He was still a Child when the first attempt was made to murder Him, and He was yet a young Man when the last effort succeeded in nailing Him to a cross.

In between the beginning and end of Jesus’ earthly life, He was misunderstood, maligned, mistreated and hated. He was falsely accused, called vicious names, was beaten, spit upon, whipped, and crowned with thorns. Just like today the very ones that help to shape you and make you a better person has been betrayed, castigated among other church people and still you pretend that nothing is wrong with that type of behaviour. Looking back, Jesus might also have said that “no good deed goes unpunished.”

Amazingly, I have never heard Jesus say that. I hope that when He looks at us — when He sees the hundreds of millions whom the Holy Spirit has saved through His sacrifice — Jesus is pleased. I hope He thinks to Himself that all His good deeds have been blessed.

LET US PRAY: Dear Lord Jesus, forgive me for the times when I take Your suffering and many acts of kindness for granted. Let the Holy Spirit give me the ability to lead a life of thanksgiving and praise for Your suffering, sacrifice and glorious resurrection. In Your Name I ask. Amen.

The Manifested Sons of God The prophet Isaiah spoke of our day when he wrote: “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.” Isaiah 60:2 The word darkness always means “the lack of light”. Jesus stated, “I am the light of the world.” John 8:12. Today darkness is truly covering the earth, and gross darkness the people, because they have forsaken Christ their light. The light has shown upon all mankind, but the things of this life have replaced the light of Christ in many lives. Even those who call themselves by the Name of Christ have turned from the light unto the things of darkness. Jesus declared: “. . . this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19 Yes men’s hearts are failing and there is no quick fix as seen or spoken in some corners. Unless man gets back to their first love which is Christ, they will continue to walk in darkness.

When men’s deeds are evil, they do not want to be convicted of their evil, so they shun the light, and continue in their darkness. But through the pen of Isaiah we have God’s promise to those who choose to walk in the light of God. God is going to arise upon His people, and His glory will be seen upon all those who have chosen the light, and have turned from darkness. Jesus proclaimed: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14 Those who walk in the light are the light of the world. They will make up the city that cannot be hid which is the Holy City, the New Jerusalem descending down from God out of heaven. Paul spoke of those who will make up God’s Holy City: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” Romans 8:19 The whole creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. The word manifestation means “the revealing of something which has been hidden”. When the glory God has promised shines upon His creation, then God’s true sons will be made manifest. Praise God for His glorious day that is directly ahead.

My brothers, sisters and friends of this blog it is time to arise and know something is about to happen. The signs are everywhere and because the hearts of many will wax cold the fears of men rise. God bless and have a nice day.

A Kingdom Divided

Today we live in the most exciting time in the history of mankind. We are witnessing God’s hand of judgment on the mightiest nation since the Roman Empire. In less than ninety days America will hold presidential elections and the war among the candidater are pusdhe in the minds and hearts of the people who wants either four more years of democratic rule or to shift to the republican. America is show casing to the world that it is at the cross roads and this election will show up the real colours of this powerful nation. In St. Vincent and the Grenadines the elections are over, and there appears no decisive winner. However a party was declared a winner and tioned by the court, yet the losing party will not accept the results and the the war continues. In a small nation where foreign debts eats up 74% of all revenue and there is no redress in sight. Yes, a divided nation on party lines. No one wants to be in opposition and the fight will continue. The other half wanted someone else. Truly Jesus’ words become more real than ever before.

“And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:” Matthew 12:25

We live in a nation divided against itself. By Jesus’ words we know this nation cannot stand. By God’s Word we know the kingdoms of man will be brought into desolation. Only one Kingdom will stand for all eternity, and that is the Kingdom of God. God is installing His Kingdom, His Kingdom principles, and His Kingdom ways in a people. He cannot bring the Kingdom on the earth until He gets the Kingdom in the earth — our earth — those who are sold out to God instead of to this world and the governments of this world. Jesus told His disciples:

“Blessed is that servant, whom his Lord when He cometh shall find so doing.” Luke 12:43

So doing what? Doing the things of the Kingdom. Jesus came preaching the Kingdom. John the Baptist came proclaiming the Kingdom. Every writer of the New Testament pronounced the Kingdom. The church system can only preach salvation. Too many today teach nothing of God’s coming Kingdom. They are so far from what the scriptures teach and the people fall for anything. It is my understanding that if it is not in the scripture then it is not of God. So when the Lord comes, all they will be doing is proclaiming the precepts and doctrines of men. Jesus made a special promise to those He finds so doing His Kingdom principles:

“Of a truth I say unto you, that He will make him ruler over all that He hath.” Luke 12:44

Today many are proclaiming sonship and ruling and reigning with Christ, but there will be no ruling and reigning for those who are not living His Kingdom way. There will be no ruling and reigning for those who are part of the house divided against itself. The only thing these can be assured of is desolation. The church is so badly divided that it might be hard to find the fragments to put it together. Too, many splinters and no truth nor word. Sin is more rampant in the church today and God is hardly heard or seen in the lives of the people. The world has entered the church through an open door and you cannot distinguished saints from sinners. My advice is for those that are called by His Name to come out andbe separated before judgement is reigned down on the earth.

God bless and have a fantastic day.

Set a Guard on the Doors of Your Life

We live in the day when those who are serving Christ have never had more opportunities and challengers than we have today. Along with these opportunities and challenges they are many temptations to draw us back to serving the world. When we look a these opportunities, challenges, and temptations we must look at them as doors. It is through a door that we enter into something. We also use doors to exit from something. Doors can lead to blessings. Closed doors can lead to missed blessings. As we look at doors Spiritually, we can understand that our eyes are doors, our ears are doors, and our mouth is a door. Whatever we allow in our eyes goes into the soul. We must deal with whatever goes into the soul before our God. Job, who was the wisest man in the East, declared:

“I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?” John 31:1

What Job was saying was, that which he did not look upon, he did not have to deal with later. If we guard our eyes, we can have a pure heart. All those who look at girly magazines set their thoughts on things that do not exist. Their lives become a fantasy, and they begin to judge all women by their delusion. Today the trash music, rock and roll (Christian or otherwise), acid rock, rap, and every other form of off beat music confuses the soul and greatly limits one’s ability to think. We need to shut out the noise of the world, so we can hear the still, small voice of God. The same is true of our mouth. It, too, is a door. We can spew all kinds of trash out of our mouth – – – words that cut, wound, and kill. The all-wise Solomon wrote:

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof,” Proverbs 18:21.

We will eat the fruit of whatever we speak. David cried before the Lord,

“Set a watch, O Lord, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.” Psalm 141:3.

We need to set a watch before our mouth so the words that come out of the door of our mouth are edifying and healing. David also declared,

“Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in,” Psalm 24:7.

If we open the doors of our hearts, then we have God’s promise the King of glory shall come in. This is the same promise Jesus gave to John on the Isle of Patmos,

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to Him, and will sup with him, and he with Me,” Revelation 3:20.

This is not a salvation message. This is a Kingdom declaration. If we open our door, then the King of glory will come in and sup with us. Set a guard on the doors of your life, and eternity is yours. Are you willing to install doors to shut out the mess of the world? This is your time do it and be blessed.

Peace! Peace! Where There Is No Peace!

I have to greet you this morning in the Name of the Lord and to thank Him for the declaration in our lives through His Holy Spirit.

The prophet Jeremiah was called the weeping prophet. Jeremiah prophesied the fall of Judah for many years. How would Jeremiah react to the sin he would witness in the world today? Jeremiah declared:

“For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of My people slightly, saying, Peace, Peace; when there is no peace.” Jeremiah 8:11

All one hears all over the earth today is Peace, Peace! Many nations have their peace conferences, but these have all failed. The United States government sends peace keeping troops here and there which is a joke. You hear of “peace corps” and “peace missions” but what do they accomplish, or the purpose they serve. There will be no peace unless the Prince of Peace is the head. Man is trying to do the best he can, but without God man’s puny efforts will fail. The harder man tries in himself, the further he gets away from God. The voice of God is no longer heard in government circles. Many have their own god, which is power and control. The apostle Paul warned:

“Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.” Hebrews 12:26

It is God’s people who are going to be shaken. You always shake someone to wake them up, or get their attention. God is trying to wake His virgins out of their Adam sleep. He is trying to wake them up to look at their lukewarm spiritual condition. Heaven is the Spiritual realm of God, and He is shaking every one of His chosen ones to check where they are in Him. God’s people are taken up with the things of this life, and can no longer hear His voice which is saying, “Come up higher”. We need to get on our knees and open our Spiritual ears. Then, and only then, will God give us the peace that passeth all understanding in this troubled, degenerate world.

Let me address you directly, fellow believers in Christ this shaking is to get you to check your lamps for oil and to trim the wick and get ready to light for the Bridegroom is about to make His grand entrance. This peace will only be given to His Bride and afterwards all “hell” will break loose on this earth. There will be a shaking as never written in the history pages, and when it happent if you feel it, know that you are left behind where there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Bless up all.

Sir Godfrey Gregg
